The second piece of story DLC for Resident Evil 5, Desperate Escape is out now. For 400 points
"This is the second installment of new content for RESIDENT EVIL 5. After Jill Valentine is rescued by Chris Redfield, he leaves her to finish his mission. Find out how she made it out on her own, and what role Josh Stone played in her escape. This package also allows you to unlock two new characters in the all-new The Mercenaries Reunion. Play as one of the stars of RESIDENT EVIL 0, Rebecca Chambers, or take on the role of Delta Team's commander, Josh Stone. There are also additional figures available in Extra Figures to round out this action-packed package."

Ahead of Battlefield: Bad Company 2's release this week, IGN have released their official UK review of the game.
UK, March 2, 2010 - With most of its rivals hell-bent on compromise, DICE has always stood apart for trying to push the boundaries of what a military shooter should be. On a mission to free players from shackles of tightly scripted cinematics, choke points and one-man war-hero shenanigans, it's not hard to surmise that the Swedish studio kicks against almost everything that the 'corridor' shooter stands for.
Having spent years mining a rich seam of co-operative multiplayer freedom, the thrilling destruction introduced in Battlefield: Bad Company a couple of years back helped set it apart even further. In a genre where blowing shit up for fun is the entire point, being able to reduce buildings to rubble was a real game-changer.
The sequel takes everything a step further, with a breathtaking evolution of its stunning Frostbite technology, tighter gameplay mechanics, and a more compelling narrative hook that dials down the hapless antics of the original. In short, it's better in every conceivable sense, and in many respects the definitive rival to the Modern Warfare series.

Bungie Teasing Something Crazy For Halo: Reach |

US, February 26, 2010 - It appears as though Bungie is cooking up something special for its final Halo title.
A short post on the studio's developers blog teases a big reveal which is apparently being worked on by multiplayer designer Steve Cotton.
"Steve Cotton is working on one of the craziest things ever in a Halo game," it says.
Bungie's weekly update also provided a few details, recounting a conversation that took place by community men Brian Jarrard and Eric Osborne discussing Cotton's work.
"What Cotton is playing around with right now is beautiful and alien and huge," Bungie wrote. "Brian launched into a bevy of questions designed to break Cotton down and reveal all the holes and limitations in his master plan, but at each and every step, his efforts were easily foiled by Cotton's expertly crafted construct."
"Yup, we're doing that."
"Yup, that's in."
"Already in the plan."
"We joked that what Cotton's working on deserves a ViDoc all by itself, and as we walked away, Brian and I realized that the sentiment really was no joke," it said. "We really could drop ten minutes covering just this. Easily. But then again, I could drop a single image and it would probably be enough to send you over the edge."
