Xbox system Info
need some system info help
told to look for Falcon chip. told ways to look for it. I need to know if this is good.... Xbox 360 elite (black) box info: lot# 0742 team: cson 205w (told you cant always go by this, told to look at brick) Brick Info: says 175w only date I see on console is 2009-10-03 what chip is it? any other info you can give thanks |

i personally have never understood this chip buissness. all i know it the newer the console is the newer the chip.
the newer the chip the more reliable it is. i think anything after around 2008 are really reliable |

So my xbox is pretty new, i think December last year so does that mean a smaller failure rate?

Not sure when they started using Jasper chips in elite consoles. Arcades became Jasper based in november/december of 2008.
175W power supply is for a Falcon based system. Weird that the console says 205w, which would be the Zephyr revision. I would recommend buying a new system only, to make sure you get the latest revision, along with the 3 year warranty on rrod and e74. |
