I am getting a ps3 next week!

My dad said he will buy me a ps3 (if i start going to, and doing good in school!) and i found a local who is selling a ps3 and 3 games and a intercooler, he said he wanted $550 and i told him $500 and he said ok, i am going to go pick it up next week

. the games are NHL 08 (meh, i dont really like hockey...) NBA 2k7 (meh for this one too) and godfather

	1. Don't use the InterCooler. The PS3 has excellent cooling, and the chance of the InterCooler fu¢king your console by syphoning power that should go to the very power intensive Cell Processor. 2. Those games suck. The only decent one is GodFather, but it is inexpensive anyway. 3. That is a horrible deal. Just get a new one.

	i want 60 gb :/ i wasn't going to use the intercooler, if he's giveing it to me then i guess ill take it. i like sports games so i guess ill give them a try...

	I don't see why it's such a big deal. The 80GB can play most PS2 games...

Pushed the wrong key?

I wish Sony hadn't crippled the GPU in other OSs. Then we could probably get an open source project setup with the goal of creating complete backwards compatibility. Not to mention all of the excellent free games that we could be playing... I guess it's probably possible to get PS2 games running without the RSX considering the power of the Cell, but that would complicate things greatly and much further reduce the chance of something like this being successful.

Even though I usually complain about how these things never help anything and are therefore useless, it couldn't hurt.

	our school ends in a month or so and i am failing all my classes so i have to work my ass of to finish all the work i missed in 1 month :/ then i have to go to summer school for a month and sit in class and learn ****ing french for 6 hours a day 5 days a week

LOL, today was my last day. It was bloody horrible though. We were supposed to get out early at 11:15, but somehow that got changed to 12:00, then I waited 30 minutes in a line to get my yearbook, then once I got to the end they said I have a fine so they won't give it to me. So I walked back out into the commons and they were soo filled with people that you had to literally push people over to get through. So I took 10 minutes to work my way through the crowd to the line to pay for fees, and got in line. But I seemed to get further away from the front of the line as tons of people cut to the front. Then as I was waiting there were tons of people who wanted me to sign their yearbooks, which I hate doing since I can't think of anything good to say so I just sign my name, then people get pissed because I didn't write a comment, so this year I just started writing "fuçk off" in everybody's yearbook. So I waited there for over an hour and when I actually got to the front of the line I found that it was just a fuçking five dollar fee! I spent over an hour waiting to pay a five dollar fee! So I was extremely pissed off. Then on my way out I pushed down a mentally handicapped kid...

I passed all of my classes this quarter though.

I should've failed my AP Biology class because I got tired of doing the work and I don't like the essays he was giving every day (to prepare for the AP test which I decided not to take) so I just didn't do anything. But I guess he decided to pass me after seeing that I had one of the highest scores in the class on the state test.

And why would you take French? Or is it required there?

	Yup... you cant get your highschool diploma without taking french (till grade 9, grade 10 its optional).i had the worst atendence this year, its so bad that all the kids i know get shocked when i come to school btw ^ was not a joke! i am changeing that, because if i dont get at least 3 credits this semester (we have 2 semesters with 4 credits each year) they said they would kick me out

	They kick you out for having bad grades? Hah! That would never happen in America. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's illegal. And that feature isn't really hidden...and I'm pretty sure that the 360's media player does the same thing... Oh, and what's your PSN?

We have semesters, but each semester is broken down into two quarters, so we get quarterly grades, not semesterly. We just change classes at the end of the semester. And no, I didn't pass everything that quarter. I failed 5/8 of my classes. Two of them would just give me elective credits so they don't really matter anyway, but I have to have the World Civ, Health, and English credits. I've already made up the World Civ credit, now I just have to make up the others. I can either buy a little packet with a bunch of work in it that I have to do and hand in, or I can take the classes on the interwebz.

And yes, we have final exams in most classes. I generally do very well. They won't tell us the score for most of them until next year, but here are my scores for the one's I know.

Programming IB Java: 98.3%
Web Design I: 94%
Video Productions: 93%
Geometry: 65% (the highest in the school was 73%, so it's not that bad)

The final exams don't really affect the students in any way though. They just use them to see how well the schools and teachers are teaching and to determine how much money to give each school. We had a big test called the UBST (Utah Basic Skills Test) half way through the year, and I got superb in all areas. (reading, writing, and math) And we have to pass that or we can't graduate. (you can take it three times though) My scores were about double the school average...
