Renovating
i am renovating my room, taking down the wall paper and i am going to paint my whole room orange and i am going to get all black furniture 
new bed http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/10074929 and stuff. my mom is buying it all but i will still have to save up for electronics 
i am hopeing to do something like this.

If I gave a damn about the way my room looked, I'd put brushed metal over all but one of my walls. Then I'd put a red, yellow, and green gem in the right corner of each of those walls. And I'd have the Tiger Aqua wallpaper painted on the remaining wall, paint the menu bar, put a HDD in the wall, and paint "Macintosh HD" under it. Then I'd get a set of clear horizontal drawers, put icons on each one, then put it at the base of that wall. Then I'd have a metal trashcan, like the Apple one, next to those drawers.
I'd get bed sheets that look make it look like an iPod, and I'd have the grass wallpaper from Leopard painted on the floor. All of the furniture would be aluminum... |

What would be hard? Screw a few slabs of metal to the walls, and pay an artist to pain the floor, wall, and drawers. Pay another person to make the sheets. Then all that would be left is to put up the gems, put in the HDD, and get some furniture.

i am doing it by myself its much much cheaper. we all the stuff for $700 including the paint, and the pro guy said $3000 :/

i'm not cheap, i rather do that work and take the extra $2000 and get something else and its not that hard anyways.

I 'renovated' my room a few years ago when my brother finally moved into his own room that we built for him in the basement. My mum and I did everything ourselves. My room was so much more spacious once my brother moved out! Its not very spacious now with my racing pod in there though lol. My mum and I painted the walls a sort of baby blue. I really like my room now
It was so nice getting the dam bunkbeds out of there.Orange walls with black furniture should look pretty sweet. Be sure to post before and after pictures!! |

My room has been the same since I was born. LOL My brother did the decoration and stuff, and I never changed it when he moved. So there is like balls from different sports on the wallpaper of one of the walls. Which is quite ironic. LOL
And there is some fugly fake wood on one side for some reason. :/ The ceiling is tiled. The closet is white with blue splattered through it... |
