Well, I don't know if it's different in Canada, but here it's pretty unrealistic to think that you're going to get your money back. And if you do then you've already spent twice what you're getting back in the process.

well my local police said they will investigate it after next Wednesday and if they find him than i can take him gto court for $75. i know he is in Canada because i used email money transfer and that is Canada exclusive.

i found the person on yellow pages! well the address they gave me when i first bought it and when i sent the email from my other account and the one that was on the ebay listing.

nope, i am going to call and ask if it them and i can probly tell by the tone of there voice. and in the email it even said pick it up at that address so i dont think that address is fake.

because when i called the person was a lady and she said she wasn't selling anything on ebay and that she was the only one who lives there :/. I can find the name and address only if the police get a warrent (interac said they will give the info if i get a warrent), and when i called the police they said it was a civil crime and that they wont get a warrent.

she easily could have been lieing to cover up for her boyfriend, husband or brother..

You should try to get yourself on the news. Or at least get the media interested. Once the media is interested, youd be amazed at what the police will do LOL. What you got to do, is contact the media, say your a 16(? I dont know ur age..w/e ur age is) year old kid, who saved up his hard earned money to buy a PS3, bought one online but got scammed out of your $500 and you want to get your money back but the police wont do anything and so your just going to be left hanging with no money, and no PS3.
That should be good enough to get the media interested. A story about being scammed while trying to purchase something online. Scamming stories are all over the news all the time so you shouldnt have a problem. You dont even necessarily need to get on the news, once the police know the media is involved in the story, they usually kick their ass into gear and do things they said were impossible.
If still the police dont do anything, so often do I see stories where somebody who was watching the news simply gives the person money, or gives the person whatever it was that was stolen(like they went out and bought a new one and then gave it to them) So you might get lucky and some rich person watching might give you the money, or buy you a PS3.
