But that's in free for all isn't it? I was under the impression that in teams there are two 128 player teams that are split into 8 player squads for better organization and stuff.

Dam man i want! i cant wait till it comes out i am probly going to get it day 1.

too bad i dont have 256 friends (i know i can play with random pp & friends, but all my friends have xbox 360s so i guess my only friend would be paint :/l!)

LOLZ! i have 2 best friends and one has an xbox and the other has a ps2 and he has the money but he doesn't want to get another system :/

is this going to be tactical or straight up run and gun or mix of both?

Probably tactical. Why else would they split you into squads with leaders and stuff.

...how does it look anything like Crackdown? Just because it's a third person sandbox game? Because that's really the only simularities. In one you're a copish dude who has to kill all of the criminals, and in one you're in a city that has fallen apart, you have special powers for some reason and you have to decide whether you are going to use them help or hurt people.
