Traded my XX for a XX [MERGED]

Yeah i know everything you guy's are going to say, and i doubt any of it will be too kind or any of you will even care why i'm doing it but i'll take the time to tell you anyway.
I got tired of multiplatform games coming out and the lesser priced 360 had the game running at a faster framerate than the PS3 most recent example's are "EA's Madden 08 and Tiger Woods 08" , i also got tired of waiting for a decent high rated exclusive to come to the PS3's already lack luster library Lair was a huge disappointment , Heavenly Sword was way too short, and Two Worlds already got crappy reviews on the 360 so i'm not about to waste money on the PS3 version, and quite honestly i must admit i'm just too curious about Bioshock with it's great reviews and of course the upcoming Halo 3.
However before doing this i did arrange one condition with my local game store manager, and that was if and when my new 360 Elite ever gets the red ring of death again i do not want to wait 4 to 6 weeks to replace or fix it, but instead i want him to switch it out for me with a new one right on the spot.
So since i have been such a great customer over the years that condition was agreed on and then i agreed to the purchase of the 360 Elite and preorderd Halo 3.
So you guy's flame all you want about my loyalties or swapping one for another but, as i said many times before in this very forum " i love all 3 consoles but i cannot afford all 3 " and therefore i will just choose one and hopefully the hardware will last and the software will continue to entertain me with each new release...

You made some good points about the PS3. I haven't gotten one for the same reasons you traded yours in for a 360. Owning a 360 myself, I can tell you I'm quite happy with mine and have no regrets buying it. I don't think you'll have any regrets either. Welcome to the relm that is 360!

You made the right choice, PS3 is on its way to being a Sega Dreamcast. Good system awful marketing.

LMAO is this like the fifth one of these threads I have read from you? Isn't this your third 360? And you are almost surely going to trade it in again? Seriously, you just keep making a thread like this, bashing the other consoles, then trading your console in and getting the one you just got through bashing so you can bash the one you just had. You say that you can't afford all three, but you could most likely have all three or at least two if you hadn't lost tons of money by trading them in. I like my PS3, Heavenly Sword and Lair may have been a disappointment (I'm not sure, I haven't played them yet and I often like games that everyone else hates so I will have to try them out) but there are still tons that look great that should be coming out in the future, and WarHawk was great. The 360 has more current games, but the future doesn't look to good IMO. I was expecting a lot of new games at the MS press conference at E3, but it was just a bunch of shit, and there wasn't really any games that we didn't already know about. The Sony press conference had me drooling. And while I get more entertainment out of my 360 right now, I think that the PS3 will entertain me much more after another year or so, and I get much more fun out of my PS3 than I did with my 360 that early in its life.

First of all who ever said i lose money when i trade in one system for another, actually it's the direct opposite i purposely collect a certain amount of accesories, and games and by the time i trade it in and then i'm able to get a brand new console and at least one game if not more with nothing out of pocket.
Oh and where the hell are you shopping? in which store have you heard that the PS3 is equalling the 360 in sales, because every game store i have gone to as recently as today have said their not moving any PS3's, especially not the 80gig units because their no longer backwards compatible.
I hope that Sony press conference did make you drool because that's all your gonna' get for now with their new much delayed titles coming out some time next year because right now i'm sorry to admit there is no new phenomenal exclusive PS3 title to play, and even though i know that will change, who the hell wants to wait the better part of a year to play them, i just heard PS3's Home software and Metal Gear 4 got pushed back to next year, about the only thing you can look forward to exclusively is Ratchet & Clank.
So consider yourself lucky that you have all 3 consoles to amuse yourself but as i told you before i'm not bashing the other consoles i like all 3 of them, but all of us know the Wii's graphics are dated, the PS3 has yet to produce a phenomenal exclusive, and the 360 gets the occasional red ring of death, so all of them have their pro's and con's but right now as far as high rated games and exclusives go the 360 is the best choice for me.

I know you love PS3 and that is fine but the fact is Sony F'd up and its too late> I was a die hard Sony fan and couldn't wait for PS3 but when that $599 price tag came out I jumped to Xbox and didn't look back.

You are still losing all the money you spent on those games and accessories. If you buy a $400 console, and $400 worth of games, then trade all that in for a $600 console and a $60 game then you are losing $140. Multiply that by however many times you have changed consoles and you could probably have a second console. Look at VGChartz. If you line up the launches the PS3 and 360 sales overlap. Of course the 360 has sold more, but it has been out much longer. The 360 didn't sell too well in its earlier stages either, which is why they overlap. And I don't really care if the games won't be out for a while. I would rather have a bunch of great titles than a bunch of shitty rushed ones. Plus there aren't really any major 360 exclusives that we know of for the future. (besides Halo)

Paintballer your chart clearly shows sells as followed Wii, 360, ps3. PS3 has only sold a little over 5 mill units

HA-HA- HA- Paintballer saw the blue line under the PS3 letttering and assumed those were it's sales...DUhhh look again genius, the color code is right next to each systems lettering the blue is the Wii sales, green is the 360 sales and of course last and very least red is the PS3 sales, learn how to read a chart dude.
By the way i don't care how many games i sacrificed in trade as long as no cash comes out of pocket for the new system i'm happy.
By the way some more 360 exclusives are Forza 2, Bioshock, Project Gotham 4, and many others not just Halo 3 so do some more research on charts and games before you post , your making yourself look like a fool.
