If microsoft came out with a console and sony has one and nintendo has one and sega used to have one are there anymore companies thinking about maybe coming out with one?

and what company would you want to make a new console if any

LOL They've made a console before (the Pippin(it failed :/ )) and there have been rumors that they may be making another one, but I doubt it. It seems more likely that they would make a Mac designed for gaming, and get a bunch of contracts with game developers than actually making a console.

I've never even seen one, I've just heard about them on the internet. They only sold about 42,000, and there was only about 20 games, so I wouldn't imagine that it was very good. (it was supposed to be a rival for the PS2 and N64) It also wasn't actually made by Apple, as you can probably tell by how ugly it is. They just licensed it to Bandai.

Looks like some kind of jacked printer to me.

And no, microsoft was talking about how they WANT an open development console. So its easier to develop for.

i dont recall ever seeing or hearing about that before and ive read up on the history of gaming consoles...

Im just going through my bookmarks looking for the page of the history of game consoles, and apprently i also have bookmarked the history of computers, and the history of EA...i dont recall ever reading those two...maby i bookmarked them to read later and forgot about them, lol. Anyway, heres the link for the history of game consoles i read a while ago. Its a massive 11 page read, but its quite interesting..Theres actually been a lot of consoles that mostly everybody has never heard of because they were such failures...
