Well as I'm sure every single person here noticed( ), I havnt been on the site in about 2 days. My minor absence has been because I GOT ROCK BAND BIATCH!(the Special Edition obviously) omfg is it ever freiking awesome!!! If you thought Guitar Hero is good, you have no idea. Im just so addicted to it.

To paintballer and everybody else who thinks this is only a good party game and if your playing solo Guitar Hero is the way to go. You couldnt be more wrong! Yes obviously Rock Band is an amazing party game, best one for the 360, but it is also a fantastic solo game. You dont have friends over to play with you? Fine, go into Solo Career and play through the game on just the Guitar, or play through the game on just the Drums, or play through the game just singing. So that means you can do everything you can do in Guitar Hero, you just have a whole crap load more options. You can play the game exactly like Guitar Hero, playing only the Guitar, or you can play the game like the non-existent Drum Hero, or you can play the game like w/e some singing game is called, AND / OR you can play the game with a group of friends with somebody on each instrument, or with just 1 or 2 friends with select instruments. You can play it however you want.
If your essentially only going to be playing the Guitar, then its still worth it simply because it'll be identicle to playing Guitar Hero, except you have the option of occasionlly messing around with the drums, and you have the option of having a good time on the random ocasion that friends come over. If you buy Guitar Hero, when friends come over your hooped. But if you have Rock Band, then your not.

So you see, its everything Guitar Hero is, plus more.


The drums are hard ass, im playing them on Easy and I can only 3 star songs...I have 1 song that i manged a 4 star...The Guitar is awesome, not only does it look better then the Guitar Hero one, but theres no annoying 'CLICK' every time you strum! Its silent! Im easily 5 staring songs on Medium with the Guitar, one song I embarrassingly only got a 3 star, and a couple I only got 4 stars..

Plus, perhaps best of all, the game has a freiking awesome song it in from South Park! Timmy and The Lords of the Underworld. Heres some videos of it in South Park, and videos of people playing each part of the song.

my brother got this for christmas, and the guitar is worn out already, the guitar wont strum down, this is a common problem with the guitar, try to be careful with it. the game is really unbelievably good and addicting. i just wish the instruments (except the Mic) were made better, they will wear and tear over time. i havent played it in a few days because of the guitar, and my bro always calls dibs on drums, which are damn fun! have you gotten up to the enter sandman gig? have fun with that lol you cant choose easy either

I'm really not that interested in drums and I can't sing worth a shit. I also didn't have any interest in Guitar Hero until my cousin got me to play it at his house. Eventually I'll play it and have to buy it.

Eh, I'll rent the game and use my GH controller to see how great it actually is. But most of the reviews I watched said that for solo guitar playing GH is the way to go. I would love to play the drums, but like I've mentioned, my hand is screwed up, so I can't.

And I actually like the click when you're strumming.

if your down strum is messed, send the guitar back to EA for free repairs. EA will even compensate you with a free game of your choice.

I havnt played it very much yet because of the hours I work during the week. You can be sure i'll be playing the shit out of it this weekend though!

I went over to CanadianGamer4's and Syntax's house today, spen1 was there aswell, and **** did we ever have a hell of a time playing Rock Band. We spent 8 straight hours playing it non-stop!(Except for like 15 mins to go eat) It was crazy. I have not had that much fun playing a video game in years. We were constantly rotating instruments so we all played everything a bunch, spen1 brought his GH2 guitar over so we could have 2 guitars so all 4 of us could play at once. Syntax was at work for the first 3 to 3.5 hours, so he wasnt there the whole time, and he didnt play much when he got there, but he did play a bit.

I cannot remember the last time I played one game for 8 straight hours non-stop, dont even know if ive done that before. I probably have but dont remember...It was unbelievable. I would say we definately had the most fun playing Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld. **** that song is so awesome. I bought "My Sharona" off the marketplace for 160 points and we had a blast playing that song aswell.

When i came home, my brother and sister said lets play rock band! I was like ****, i just spent 8 straight hours on it.. I hooked it up and we played it anyways. We didnt play it for long, only like 30 mins or so. We couldnt get the Unlock All Songs cheat to work for some reason so we had a very limited song choice, otherwise we would have spent much longer playing.

I told you i'd be playing the shit out of it on the weekend Already over 8 hours lol

Dont think i'll go for them, if you do make em though, I'll check em out and see if it really is worth it. I havnt been bothered by the noise so far(well except when im trying to play the game at like 2am..my room is right next to my parents, so I cant play the drums at night because of this..)

The only faulty guitars should have been the first batch off the production line though. Thats where all the reports of faulty guitars have come from and they said they fixed it after the first batch. I assume thats true since as I said the only reports of broken guitars I've seen has been from people who bought Rock Band on launch
