Ok, I got all of my stuff today and set it up and got familiar with it. Unfortunately I got an old model I think even though it was made 2007-08-07 its lot #0732.
Oh well, so I set up my hd widescreen monitor and proceeded to correct all the configurations and turned it on the first time. I gasped I am just amazed at the difference vs. CRT. I am glad because I chose a monitor with a headphone port and hdmi port, plus many more things. This means I can listen to the hdmi transfered audio through speakers/headphones I have with the use of an input/output cable. I cruised around the dashboard configuring things and just staring in amazement at what lay before me, so I decided to toss in H3. Now I sit at the "Select difficulty" screen, never having a problem in games with this option before, I find myself conpuzzled as to what I should select. I am yearning for Legendary. Because when you play on that you get use to that level of play. However being a bit rusty I still want to be able to enjoy the game. So what should I do? I want the real ending, which I have read comes with legendary. Help me decide! I am glad with this purchase, even though the 360 gets really hot (much hotter than my PC, maybe not my old southbridge but...it gets hotter than my laptop. Hopefully it will be fine. Thankfully my idea to put a laptop cooler worked out great. On newegg there is a Xion laptop cooler that my family uses for our laptops and it works perfectly on the (standing-up) bottom of the 360, drawing the hot air out and away. I'd say its at least 38c-42c, Which isn't bad. Bad = 55c and up, specifically 64c (overheating temp). |

I always play on the easiest setting on almost all games. :/ I would play on the harder settings, but if I die and have to redo something more than twice I get frustrated, kick something/one, and never play the game again, so it is best to play something that I'm not going to die on......
But just do whatever difficulty you want, I don't think its that big of a deal. I'm not sure if the ending is different, (I've just been playing on Live, I've only played the first two levels of the campaign) but if it is then I'm sure you can see the legendary ending on YouTube.

Heh well I mainly want to start on legendary because if you can even get use to that level of play imagine what you would be like online. Practicing everyday on legendary, you become just that.

Eh, online is a completely different type of gameplay than the campaign. I suck at single player, but I'm not too bad on Live......
