I was wondering, I plan to play halo 3 on Live. I was wondering all those videos on youtube and stuff. Are replays saved on the 360's hard drives or on servers. I've read that they are stored on servers but how does that work. Can you access the games you have played even back to the very first one to your most current game? The idea of Xbox Live storing all the video game play footage makes me confused to how much space Live actually set aside JUST to store replays for 1 game let alone all the games that are out there for live.

It doesn't require much space because it doesn't actually save a video. It simply saves a list of the actions each player made, when they did it, their coordinates, etc. Then when you watch it it renders it just as if you were playing the game. So each game is probably only a few kilobytes.
