Class Action Connect offers lawsuit against Bungie for Halo's missing pixels 136 Comments by Griffin McElroy Dec 8th 2007 5:00PM Filed under: Microsoft Xbox 360, First Person Shooters, Business Have you or someone you love been egregiously injured either physically or emotionally by Bungie Studios, whose mega-blockbuster Halo 3 displayed at an upscaled output of 640p, despite being advertised as displaying in full, 720p HD? Do feel like you've been cheated out of 80 pixels that you paid good money for? Has it been a while since you sued McDonalds for selling you hot coffee that you proceeded to pour on your genitalia? You may be entitled to recover some of the precious funds you spent on the game, according to Class Action Connect, a site that allows possible plaintiffs to find class action attorneys to represent them for a number of different class action suits. It's like MySpace for lawyers! Just click the new lawsuit link, titled "Possible False Advertising: Halo 3 Is Not Native High Definition," and reap the rewards of our country's justice system. After we successfully get an 80 pixel refund from Bungie, we'll being going on a suing spree of developers who didn't include things they promised would be in their games. Peter Molyneux, you might as well go ahead and start liquidating your assets.

They've already explained the whole thing. They're using double light parameters so basically they are going for quality not quanitity. That extra minor pixel space doesn't make up for the intense lighting effects within the game using their methods. Its all described and only people like the people who sue restraunts would sue a game developer for "missing pixels". The judge will laugh because he is at least somewhat realistic, and throw the case out.
Lets move on to ACTUAL criminal cases where ACTUAL crime is involved. |

People who sue over everything make me so mad. It's like they have nothing better to do with there lives then to nit pick every little thing until the find something wrong and make up some excuse as to why it ruined their lives.
Honestly I think that people shouldn't be allowed to sue for things like this. I think people should only allowed to sue 3-4 times in their life time. Maybe that way they wouldn't waste them on stupid stuff like this. I think Bungie should simply have a recall if its that big a deal. If your unhappy with the loss of pixels, then they would buy back the game for $25. Take it or leave it. Thats like buying a little 4-cylinder car rated to go 120mph tops, then sue because you can only go 115mph |
