paint, unless your headset is still under the increidbly short warranty(90 days?) then no, they wont replace it. Just buy the wireless headset. FAR superior to those wired POS. The wireless one might be a bit more money, but at least it doesnt brake so easily. Besides, its not exactly like $60 or w/e it costs means anything to you

Damn, I thought maybe the extended warranty would cover it...apparently it only covers the console and the controller. And there is no way that I'm going to pay $60 for some piece of shit made by MS that will probably get the infuriating squeal of death a week after I buy it. I'll probably just go get a cheap wired third party one tomorrow.

Its $59.99 American(just checked Bestbuy.com) and it is great. I've had mine for 6 months without an issue. Its not a shitty POS that brakes when you touch it like the wired headsets. Its made quite well.

You Canadians aren't very generous people, are you? I'm trying out Folding@home on my PS3, and it shows a little light on the globe for each person who's folding...there are like three people in Canada...

It's also cool to see how much more powerful the PS3 is than the average PC. There are about four times as many Windoze PCs doing Folding@home as there are PS3s, but the PS3s have processed about eight times as much as the Windoze PCs.

I guess Mac users aren't very generous either. (yay) We have a very low number of people folding...like 1/5 of what Linux has...
