lol so you actually bought one eh?
The beeping isnt maddening at all. Its a simple little quiet reminder every 30 seconds that your mic is off so you know whether its on or off. It would be hard to tell if the mic was on or not if there was no beeping. Its not like you have a litle switch to look at.

that doesnt make a dam bit of sense! Why the **** would you want it beeping at you while its on!? Most people are going to have the mic turned on the majority of the time, so they are not going to want a beep every 30 seconds telling them its on. You want the beep to occur the least amount possible, therefore meaning it should occur when the mic is turned off.

paint didn't u say that u didn't trust MS's wireless headset?
btw i am thinking about getting the Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System, its cheap and it got a lot of reviews and i watch a lot of movies on my comp and i am tired of the cheap speakers that came with it, i had another pair so it put them in the rear port and now i have half assed surround sound :/ ![]() i am getting it from canada comp, i read some reviews on tiger direct... Well, it seemed like the best option...I know the wired one sucks ass, and all of the third party ones got horrible reviews. But the wireless one got great reviews...it's pretty nice besides the beeping...

i think i will save my money up and get the Logitech Z-5500, it rapes the other speakers... but its $200 more
