Ps3 Help

I know this fourm isa 360 site but since this is the wartercooler I'll take it of the 360 topic, The thing is I own a Ps3 now haven't had it long at all mabey over a week I know this is gonna sound stupid but dose anyones fan start off lound when you power it up the like 2 seconds later go lower and sound really low being onest sometimes I can't even hear it, also do anyone own motorstorm is so dose it take the piss loading with yours???

Ya, mine is a little bit louder when it first starts up then it gets quieter. Mine gets really loud when I have a disk in it though. Everyone complains about the 360 being loud, but I can barely hear mine, but my PS3 is twice as loud when it has a disk in it. It is quieter when it doesn't have a disk in it though. And I don't own MotorStorm, but I've rented it and the loading times are terrible.
