But the whole country is made of fu¢king idiots! And all of the candidates epically fail! Democracy is an epic fail in my opinion. The average person is waay too stupid for it to work. And a representative democracy is even worse. It's just a monarchy where idiots choose the monarch. Plus, the rest of the government, which we do not elect has just as much power as the president.

And basically everyone will abuse power if you give it to them. If you have weapons and people who aren't complete idiots (something America lacks, which is why this hasn't happened) then a revolution can rid of the corruption if necessary. If you have a bunch of unarmed dumbasses, then they can do anything they want. It's hard enough to revolt when we have shitty guns made for hunting and they have assault rifles and nuclear weapons. It'd be impossible if all we have is pitchforks.

And it is obvious that the US is NOT trustworthy. Considering that we have none of our basic rights that the Constitution is supposed to guarantee us. And the government kills their own people, then convinces them that it was someone else so they can infuriate them and get support to go get the things that they really want. Namely oil.

There is also the fact that guns owned by citizens are manly used for hunting or target shooting, so by illegalizing guns you kill two hobbies, and a food supply.

There is also the fact that anyone can get a gun whether they're illegal or not. Everyone who would use their guns for crimes would have guns anyway. But everyone else would be defenseless against them.

So, by illegalizing guns, you would be giving absolute power to the government, preventing the possibility of revolution, killing hobbies and food supplies, shutting down many companies, causing animals to become overpopulated which leads to them and everything that they eat to become nearly extinct, and give criminals much more power. That sounds great.

Canada has gone without having guns piled in the average household. GASP!! We rely on our government!!!11!!! Well, it paid off. We are the envy of America, and the majority of the countries around the world.

If you wish for a reliable government, it's not very patriotic to feel more relaxed by the "safety" of your weapon than the safety of a trustworthy government

Canada seems to follow the US...And that's not good. Plus your government doesn't have much defense either...Ours does...And it doesn't matter if it's patriotic, it's how it is. Our government is simply not trustworthy, for the reasons that I stated in my last post. I don't know much about Canadian government, but since you guys follow us it's probably similar....With the exclusion that your government doesn't attack it's own citizens...If it's not similar, then you simply never had the rights so they can't be taken away.

In my opinion the Canadian government sucks as well. Government should exist only to guarantee freedom, not to take it away.

Voting in Utah is absolutely useless. I just looked up the voting history for Utah, and a Democrat hasn't won here for around 50 years!

The Mormons will never vote for a Democrat...
