Robert I'm into my second year of university and I know better than to credit a site such as Wikipedia. If I were to list wiki as a source on a research paper my professors would most likely question my research habits and or deduct marks for using the site.
Lastly, anybody can change what is posted on Wiki with little to no problem. That, and you also have to consider the fact that those who write and or edit the articles may be doing so with a bias about a certain situation.

You don't credit the Wiki. You use the Wiki as a summary to help gain an understanding, then use the resources cited to get more specific information on each topic. Your entire argument can be dispelled by looking at the sources.
And bias is less of an issue. If somebody writes biased information then it will be fixed by someone else. Where in an article written by one person, they can be as bias as they like, and it will stay biased.
