You used the wrong plane. It should be plain. Plane is like an airplane, or a flat surface.

btw u should reed this, i was having some of the problems likes keys not working and so on.. on madriva

That guy sounds like a n00b, or a fanboy. You can easily setup all your keyboard functions in the KDE control panel, the menus are extremely easy to edit, just right click on it and click on "edit menu" where you can add new apps, rearrange everything, and organize it however you want. Setting it to open certain filetypes with certain apps is easy, and it works. I have done that so it opens pas and cpp files in Emacs, and it has never failed. Everything else seems to be a result of what apps he is using, which doesn't really have anything to do with KDE because he could easily use the apps that he uses in Gnome.

I could easily find many articles that argue the opposite.

I also like Xfce. Simple, uses very little resources, looks great, etc. I've been wanting to install it on Mandriva, but I haven't got to it yet.
