PS3 Arguments

I'm getting tired of n00bs (macmutt) constantly ruining threads by bringing up arguments about the PS3 in completely unrelated threads. So rather than having the same argument over and over, just keep everything in here.

as much as ur guys arguments are getting annoying, the one thing macmutt is right on is this is an XBOX 360 forum, and a lot of 360 ppl just love bashing the PS3 just because its not the 360. So you got to expect the bashing to come about on a 360 forum. Same with a PS3 forum, not so much on a Wii forum, but probably still a bit.

I dont agree 100% with either of u 2 though, i agree with some things for you, and some with him.

Hopefully this thread will work though and keep all the arguing in it. The arguing im sure will get spurred in other threads, but hopefully the post in question will get quoted into here and the argument happen in here. That should actually be made a rule, lol. Quote the post in question here and then argue about it so u leave the other one clean and happy

So for someone that actually OWNS a PS3, can you tell me how the blue ray playback is? Is it as good/better then a straight up blue ray player? I'm looking at movies for 1080P right now to go in my soon to be constructed theatre room/game room (I have a 14x52 room set aside for this), the PS3 is the cheapest blueray player I've seen, plus there's a game or two I'd actually play to boot.

Its pretty good. I can't really compare it to a standalone player, because I have never owned one, but it seems to be just as good as my friends. (I'm not sure what model it is, I think it was a Sony though) If you want to use it primarily for Blu-ray then I would be sure to get the remote, because using a gamepad can be kinda awkward.

Depends if any good games are coming out for Sony. I checked not to long ago, and didn't see any.

I think it will probably continue to do as it is now. Sell just as good as the 360, or only slightly less. I don't predict that it will ever do better than the 360 in sales though.

i dont know about this unless they really lower the price and start pumping out some decent games sony is gona go bankrupt or something lol more and more people are buying 360s and the wii is just going up crazy. but after a while the wii isnt that fun ok i dont want to get off topic so im not gona say anymore
