Projector?

Anybody here got their xbox 360 hooked to a projector?

if so, what brand and model?

do you have it throwing at a projector screen or at a flat white wall?


if possible could you like post a picture with it in action?

I don't have one, but they should look just as good as any other TV as long as you are in a dark room. I don't think a picture would show much either, because if they have a shitty camera then it is going to look shitty, and even if they have a good camera it won't show much.

My media teacher said last week we could bring in our 360 and she'd let us plug it into the projector one lesson, as I haven't got one yet one of the guys in my class was going to bring his in, quite looking forward.. =]

nice, yea one of my teachers last year let us bring in a Wii one day. Its always awesome when they let u do that lol

I wish my teachers did that......The only time my teachers even mention video games is when they're telling you not to play them, or when they are making fun of the Wii. :/

We did that last in the last few days of the year. We had to write our P.A.T's (Provincial Achievement Exams) in the first couple hours and after that we had to stay in the school unless our parents came and picked us up which was lame. But some of the teachers let us hook our xbox's onto some of the t.v's and that was fun.

back on topic. It should look just the same on the projector as a t.v. But don't get a projector if you don't have a dark room to put it in or it will suck.

Hmm.....maybe I can convince my stoner teacher (LOL) to let us play Halo. I don't think it would be too hard. One day we spent the entire class talking about eleven, another time we spent the entire day throwing markers at each other, one time we talked about this kid's earrings, one time we talked about how to get food out of clothes, the other day we talked about drugs, (because a girl was stoned in our class and she got called out and suspended) one time she chased another teacher around with staplers and everybody just screwed off on their phones and stuff, one time she left to make a Keynote (PowerPoint) insulting another teacher and left a handicapped kid in charge of the class........

i heard the progecter light dies out in a year/ year and a half :\. and the bulb cost like $600-$1200 to replace...

I think you are thinking of a rear projection. Projector bulbs go out too, but I don't think they are that expensive.

In the end, because of the reoccurring bulb cost, it would cost more over time then just buying a nice 19i-22inch LCD monitor with HDTV-HDMI. I got one for a good price. Works great with the 360.

.......But, that is only 22" compared to 100"+ you could get from a projector.......and you can get a HD projector with HDMI......
