I'm sorry. I am a Microsoft fan because everything they create is usually good. But, they can't beat the Ipod. They should just get over it.

LMAO IMO the only thing MS is good at is marketing and throwing money around. The 360 sells so well because they market it so good, they released it a year before the other consoles, they split everything up to make it look cheaper, and gave companies millions of dollars for exclusives. The 360 itself sucks ass, I don't think you can really deny that. Their OSs used to be pretty good, (earlier versions of Windows pwned classic Mac) but they have just been getting worse and worse. The OSs sell so good because they market it well. It is on nearly every PC available for purchase, so it can't really do bad. The average computer user probably doesn't even know that there are alternatives to Windows.......an Apple fan is so out of place on a 360 forum..... LOL

I don't know about the whole computer thing, but I have a friend that knows a lot about computers and any kind of OS you can get. He says Windows is the best and superior OS. Anyway, they split everything on the 360 up so you would have choices. Not to make it look cheaper. You get to pick and choose what you want.

And? Which OS someone thinks is superior to the others is based on opinion. It doesn't really matter how much they know about computers. It would be interesting to get a fairly large sample of kids and give them three PCs with equal hardware, one with Windows, one with OS X, and one with Linux. Somehow isolate them from outside influences, and then make them choose which one they prefer after owning them all for a long period of time. I doubt Windows would do nearly as good in that kind of situation, because they wouldn't really have the marketing to help them anymore.

MS splitting stuff up on the 360 may give people choices so it could be a good thing, but I'm fairly sure that isn't what MS was thinking of. They don't give a fuçk if you have choices. They do care how well their console sells, and it is obviously going to sell much better at $350 than at $800, but they don't want to lose a fuçktillion dollars () by selling it cheaper, so they split it up and sell it for the more expensive price, but in a way that the consumer doesn't realize that it costs that much.

......Not too amazing. If you want to beat something that is already selling much, much better than your product then you have to do more than just emulate it. You have to drastically improve it, and even then the chances that it overtaking the iPod is very low.
