What cameras do you guys have?

I have to do a play thing on a fairy tale in German, and I didn't want to work with a group in my German class, so I decided I was just going to film myself and greenscreen it so I can play all the roles. (I will of course be editing it on my Mac using Apple software (Final Cut Express HD(I wanted Final Cut Pro, but I can't afford it, it won't fit on my HDD, and I don't want to steal something that expensive from the best company in the world))) Well anyway, the only digital video camera I have was my digital still camera (I think it is a 4MP Canon Powershot) so I pulled it out and found that it only had a resolution of 320 X 240 for video, so that isn't going to work, and I don't know anybody with a digital video camera, so I went out and bought this one.

Anyway, I have to go open it up and play with it. Oh, and I also finally got a BT headset that I can use for my PS3. I just got it to do voiceovers and stuff, but I needed one for my PS3 too.

LOL it isn't really that great. It is like the worst HDD camera you could possibly get. :/ I used it a little, and the touch screen totally sucks. The buttons on it are extremely small, and it is insensitive. I have to push harder than I want to, and use the very tip of my fingernail so that I'm not pushing five buttons at once. :S And some things are retarded, like how it doesn't have any USB out on the camera, you have to put it in the dock for that. :| Oh well, at least it works and is easy to edit things with.

BTW it was only $520, and I somehow got my parents to buy it for me, so I'm not the rich bastard.

I'm glad that I have a digital camera too. If I had to use this thing for stills I think I would puke. This is what they look like. :/

Nice cameras are cheap these days. newegg has good deals. 7.2mp for 150. Bought. Don't even need an expensive video "camcorder" the sony digital camera I bought takes video aswell, forget about buying anything else. (Has a 4Gb stick too - DVD quality video 35mb/s)

I haven't got a video camera, I don't really need one, my fathers got a reaaally nice one that he uses when ever there's something happening and for my Media lessons I get to use these neat things worth £2,000: (not me in any of the pics btw, I took them all)

First we got the camera


Then we stole a chair


Then we pushed each other down the corridor on the chair with the cameras to get a 'smooth' shot


Then we strapped it to Steves car


Drove around with it on the roof


Hang out of his car filming


Then ran my mate over

As for a digital camera I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare Z710 which looks link this:



Also have a neat film camera, one of those big professional ones, no giant lens which is bigger than the actual camera yet though lol.

I dont have a camera. Whenever i need one i use my older sis's camera or my dads. This is my dads, its quite old now...




I dont like using that camera, its not too great. I like my sisters camera, this is hers:

Payne, that is also my series of camera. Except I have the DSC-S700, a bit more expanded version of that. I got it on newegg for 150. What a steal. Great camera. Its the only thing I need for stills, video, syncro pics, lowlight, etc.
