*New Microsoft Zune Slim*

Ok yall. So they put the slim Zunes out. They come in Black, Red, and Pink, in either 4 gig, or 8 gig, 4 gig being 150, and 8 gig being 200. So, I want a 4 gig just to get one b/c it's pink and see how good the Zunes are if any at all.

Anyone else looking into or getting a slim zune?

My friend bought one. He hates it. I was playing with one in BestBuy the other day, and it sucked. The touch pad was pretty bad by comparison to a click wheel. It was hard to get to the exact spot you want, and I found myself having to scroll back up and then down again to get to the right song. And it sucks to have to pick your finger up and keep moving it to the top to scroll further. That makes it sound like I'm just lazy, but it really is inconvenient. With the click wheel you have a lot more precision, and you just keep rotating your finger around, you don't have to keep moving it to the top. The Zune may be alright if you have a really small music collection, but its not good for much else and doesn't really have any advantage over the iPod.

I just hate MS's OSs, I'm not really biased against any of their other products. Also my friend is definitely not an Apple fanboy.....he doesn't know what a Mac is......

why don't you just stick with that instead of wasting money on something that you pretty much already have?

They don't have a pink 3rd gen ipod yet.
Only 2nd gen and i don't want that.

The slim Zune is new, and i t's pink. You figure out why I want it. And get back to me.

No no. I got my first gen ipod when they first came out..but I wanted pink but at teh time, they only came in black and white, so i got a black one, then a little later...they csame out with a second gen pink..so i had already got the 1st gen and their was not much difference betwween the f1st and 2nd gen so i waiting to see what the 3rd gen had, and they had more features so i got a 3rd gen hoping they'd come in pink, but no, so i got a blue one.

I'm a ipod person.

I'll get a pink zune b/c i wanted a pink ipod nano long time ago but was always unable b/c i had already had one in a different color thinking they'd never put pink out for teh girls!
