I think they're pretty cool, and would have a PC with one on it if I used Windoze. It would be an excellent feature in Linux, but they aren't very well supported unfortunately.

I think that technology was released in 2005. I don't keep up with HP products. But, still for me, it seems pointless, and if it broke, that would just be a pain in the ass to get fixed.

Its not really necessary, so if it did happen to break then you wouldn't be required to fix it. It would probably be pretty useless in Windoze because you pretty much only input a password on login. But other OSs that are actually secure require a password for many things which would make it very convenient.

That feature comes on Gateways too. I don't think much of it. It is just a added feature for those that fall interested in that technology.
