K this is my first post here, and after reading all the usual posts about wii's vs xbox vs ps3 i would like to give my opinion.
I have a 360 and i bought a wii for my girlfriend and our little girl at xmas, the wii is the biggest waste of money EVER as it has barely been used its just sitting gathering dust next to the tv........the graphics are awful the games are as shallow as is possible and my 6yo girl even prefers the 360. So is it worth buying a wii.......NO never be tempted by the gimicy S@#T. As for the ps3 not played one yet so not gona say anythin about that one. P.s had the 360 a hell of a lot longer and am still not bored of it yet. message from a pissed of guy who spent £300 on a wii, accesories and some half arsed games. ![]() ![]() |

I have a 360 and a wii. I like both. Like the 360 better. Nintendo never lets ya down. Sell it if you dont like it. Your 6 yr old little girl should actually love the wii, not so sure why she doesn't.

I think pretty much the same thing. I said how shitty the Wii was going to be before it was released, but then a guy at another 360 forum (Damn you ABC!!!) convinced me that it wasn't going to be that bad, so I gained a little interest in it and started visiting WiiChat, but I still wasn't going to buy it. I planned on getting a PS3 on launch, but when I found out that there were six people camping at Walmart a week before launch and Walmart said they only have three PS3s I knew it would be hopeless trying to find one. Because of that I decided to get a Wii at launch instead because I only had to camp for 29 hours. Well, it sucked ass and wasn't worth camping for at all. Sure there are a few good Nintendo games, but good third party games are almost non-existent, and a few games from one company can't carry a console. The only games I've even enjoyed for it are Wii Sports, Zelda, Metroid, and Paper Mario. Unfortunately Wii Sports gets old fast, (tennis is the only thing I can enjoy on it anymore) Zelda is a GameCube game, and Paper Mario is a very short GameCube game that wasn't released on the GameCube. I don't have many complaints about Metroid, but it is still a bit short and not worth buying because I've already beat it half way by renting it, so I'm sure I could beat it if I rented it once more.
I should post a clip from a movie I'm making for Video Productions. I play my 360, then my PS3, then I turn on my Wii and look over for a game. Then I have video of a games rack at HollyWood Video, as if it is through my vision, and zoom in on some bad games like Pokémon and Hannah Montana. Then you see a WiiMote flying into the trash. |

I bought one because several of my friends had one and said it was great. Then my wife heard at work that it'll make you lose weight... so we HAD to get one.
I specifically wanted it for Zelda and a good solution to play VC games on my TV (I had a laptop running emulators prior with a wired USB = clunky). I really tried to like it. Mario Galaxy made me mad because I couldn't rack up 1ups to 99 between shutdowns, Guitar Hero was mono (wtf), and everything else was a bunch of stupid mini-games. I couldn't stand it anymore and I sold it on ebay during the Christmas madness for $500 profit (thanks LiLSoccerMom). It more then paid for my Elite and then some. |

Mario Galaxy was one of the most disappointing games I've ever played. I was expecting it to be soo great, but it really wasn't. It's like Mario 64 except it was really short (I beat it in three days of very casual play, but it could be done in one day) and had some retarded camera flips and stuff. I'd rather play Mario 64 on my DS. :/

Mario 64 for the DS is awesome. I bought it for my niece and ended up stealing her DS for a week.
Good times. |
