Yeah mine took a crap on me as well. I got mine back fairly recently, and it has not have to go back to be fixed since.

Hey, what's wrong with the ps3?? I"m not a fan either, but i won't knock it either.

Yeh I suppose. Build quality of the Xbox is pretty bad.

Well this is the second xbox. It always takes console makers a few generations to figure out what/what not to do.

I remember the PS2 being horrible. I didn't own one early on, but everyone who had one went through a few of them, but they had to pay to get theirs fixed. I even scored a PS2 late in the game because it wouldn't play GTA3 (of all games). It'd played every other game. We even tried several CD's and no go. Real wierd.

I only had it to play Final Fantasy X. I sold it at Christmas time to a co-worker because they were sold out. I had the money to buy another one but bought a graphics card for my PC instead.

Yea it sucks, but what do ya do. We put up with it because we love games. Console makers know we'll put up with it, so they continue to cut corners and make faulty hardware.

I waited until October after the Falcons came out to buy one.

The PS2's problems weren't nearly as bad as the 360's.

I went through at least 3-4 all eating my disc's and deciding not to play games now and again.Like Player it wouldnt play GTA:SA i went through 2 copies of that.

Wow people really had a problem with the PS2 huh?

I never had a PS2, I actually don't know why. Hmmm will have to have a think about that.

I remember I had the Comodore, Mega Drive, SNES, Saturn, Playstation, XBox, and finally 360.

I did buy a PS2 about a year just to play final fantasy, I finished that and sold it.

Ya, two of my PS2's died...but that is nothing compared to the people who've went through tens of 360's.

I have a slim PS2. It's "ok" I don'y really play it anymore. It's alright. Not the best older system on the market. But I do own it.
