Getting an Xbox 360

I'm getting a 360 soon and I have a few queistions

1. Do you need the adaptor for wireless internet
2. When you set up your internet conection for wireless adaptor do you just select wireless adaptor of the list or dose it require something else?
3. When you renew your xbox live do you just get a messege when you logon the lets you select to renew your xbox live or do you select it someware else or do you do it on the computer?
4. What game do you recommend that rated T or E?
5. where dose the head set plug-in?
6. how good is the movie quality when you buy them?
7. how do you charge the wireless controler dose it come with a charger or do you use normal batterys?
8. were can I reedem xbox live 12 month cards?
9. whats an example of how many movie I can download with 20 GB will it fill up fast?

You only need it if you want to go wireless. You can use an ethernet cable and have a wired connection if you wish.

I dont have a wireless connection so I dont know this answer, sorry.

You get an email about 1 month before the renewal date saying that your account will be automatically renewed unless you go into Account Management(either on XBOX.com or on the 360 itself) and change your subscription. You can also call XBOX Support and they will do any changes for you.

What type of games are you into? Do you like Racing games, RPG's, FPS, RTS etc.? We can help suggest games a bit easier with some knowledge of what you are into.

If you use a wired headset, it plugs right into the bottom of the controller.

Do you mean the quality of movies you buy off of the XBOX Live Video Store? If so, then I dont know as Ive never bought one. I would imagine the quality is excellent as Ive never seen complaints about it. You can get both SD and HD movies.

The controller comes with 2 batteries, but you can buy a rechargeable battery pack to use instead. There are two different types of chargers. One is a Play and Charge kit, its simply a USB cable that plugs into the top of your controller and into any USB slot(the 360 uses USB) So you can plug it into your 360 and it will charge while you play. You can also plug it into your 360, turn the 360 off, and it will charge your controller while the system is turned off. Another option is a Quick Charge Kit, you simply take the rechargeable battery pack out of the controller and put it in the stand and it charges.

If you are BUYING movies, then the 20GB HDD will fill up pretty fast, if you are just RENTING movies however, then a 20GB HDD will be suffice. I have filled up my 20GB HDD at least 5 times with just Demos and Arcade Games. The 120GB HDD is definately worth the money if you are going to be buying lots of movies. Buying the Elite right off the bat would be my recommendation.

Seriously, what is with everyone getting a 360 years later? Why do people do this so often, it's like by the time they buy this system or that system, a new one comes out, and they fall behind again!! hhaha

Because it seems more logical to wait until the price drops and the good games come out than buy it when it is a very high price and has shit for games. That's for us smart people to do.

Well yeah, but then they get to double spend. Because always and forever, a new system will come out every so many years. Though I must say I wonder how Nintendo plans to out due the Wii....
