I plan on getting the Xbox 360 Arcade pretty soon... it's the cheapest one so it sounds good to me. But I'm a little concerned about memory... I heard it comes with a card but is it true you can only save 1 or 2 games with it?

I have Eternal Sonata already, and on the back it says "6 MB to save game" and Lost Odyssey says "600 KB to save game". And the memory card is 256 MB.

So taking that into consideration, wouldn't I be able to save a ton of games? Where is everyone getting this "you can only save a couple games." thing? As a side note, I'm not interested in doing anything but playing the games normally. So nothing online, no downloading, etc.

One more thing... apparently the Arcade doesn't support HD graphics, right? It's not a huge deal for me... unless it makes the graphics look really crappy. A little less sharp and clean is okay with me, though. Does anyone have an example of how the graphics look on an Arcade console?

Thanks in advance!

you can save quite a few games on a MU, but you will eventually fill it up and will need to get another one(well depending on how many games you own...)

The Arcade supports HD graphics, it even has an HDMI port on it. It just doesnt come with any HD cables. If you wish to have your games in HD, then you will have to go out and buy the HD cables, whereas if you bought a Premium, or an Elite, the cables would come in the box. Standard Graphics look fine though(I play on a 42" standard Definition Plasma, so no HD for me) and its fine. The only change you will get when you go HD, is everything will be a bit crisper, colours will be better. Not really all that much.*waits for paints idiotic reply saying this is BS when it isnt*

Why dont you want to go online and do any downloading? Thats part of the main purpose of the XBOX 360. Thats where 80%(if not more!) of the fun of the console comes from! Online Gaming is where its at nowadays so time to get with the times

Well... xD It's sad, but I'm only buying an Xbox for Tales of Vesperia, which comes out later this year. ES and LO looked awesome too, so it's a bonus for me.

Though, I'm worried about getting the RRoD so I plan on playing for like... two hours a day. haha.

dont worry if you do get the red rings you can send it to MS, with the xbox you get 1 year all failure warrant (everything is covered) and a 3 year RROD death warranty.

1 more thing, keep the proof of purchase safe.

But it is bullshit! HD looks insanely better. A TV with 720p has 921,600 pixels, compared to 307,200 on a SDTV. That's three times as many pixels! Three times the detail! Plus it's progressive scan! That is not just a bit crisper.
