if you buy an Elite, all you need to do is call 1-800-4-my-xbox, tell them you bought an XBOX 360 Elite and you want to transfer your files from your 20GB HDD over to your 120GB HDD, they will then send you a FREE transfer cable so you can do so. So this basically means you cannot trade in your old 360 untill after youve bought the Elite cause if you do you'll lose all your files.

You can do whatever you want with your old XBOX 360, you can sell it on Ebay, you can give it away, you can trade it in at a store, you can smash it, burn it, whatever you want, its yours.

Buying the Elite when you already have a 360 is pretty pointless. You can just go buy a 120GB HDD to put on the one you already have. (comes with a transfer cable) Unless you really want HDMI then I wouldn't do it. HDMI doesn't do much for the 360 anyway since there is hardly anything in 1080p and you can use VGA anyway, and I doubt you will be able to tell the difference between the two.

Yes it does. If you buy the HDD separately it comes with a transfer cable. At least it does in the US, maybe it is different over there?
