confused between nintendo wii and xbox360.

i dont know which one to get. now that the xbox360 has dropped its price by $50, wii and xbox are the same price.
which one should i get?
and which xbox console should i get? the $300 one or the $400 one, which are now $250 and $350 each?

I have both, and I would definitely get the 360. And if you do get it then get the premium ($350) because the core is a bad deal by comparison.

It really depends on you, not others opinions.

Review both consoles, if your friends have them try them both.

If you want casual games, like mini games, "family" games, etc then get a Wii, but if you like shooters, RPGs, "hardcore" games, etc then get a 360 or PS3.

If you do get an Xbox make sure you get a Pro or elite, the core is a total waste of money. As for the Wii it is a great system and is a lot of fun. The only problem is the online is a joke and there are not many action games, RE4 is about it.

yes, if your a family game person like mini games etc. get the wii. if you like online gaming, xbox live does it the best, except you have to pay for it which isnt to bad... idk why people still complain about that...

anyways 360 right now has a larger library of games. on the 360 you get games from shooters to rpgs the whole spectrum of video game genres. on the wii its new, only about 9 months old but the library is expanding quickly. if you could i would try them and if you have friends with a 360 i would get the 360 cuz online can be a lot of fun with friends in gears and other games.

i would definately get a 360. like others are saying, it has a lot more variety of games than the wii, going from action to shooters to rpg adventure. the wii is more for casual fun games, but it is very fun to play when friends are over. get the 360 if you want to play games as they have been, "hardcore" as some people are saying.
