Almost like Suicide

Last night, I played halo before dinner. After dinner, my brother (Syntax) and i wathed Prison Break, greatest show alive. Anyways, i was talking to spencer on msn, and we had organised to meet online after the show. The show ends, and I kneel before the mighty 360, basking in the glow of its superiority to all other items in my possession. Then it happened. That night, my xbox 360 took its own life. I could only sit there, watching it writhe in agony. And now, i sit on the laptop, without a 360 (My brothers broke 5 weeks ago) and the day of the halo 3 launch.

That sucks man. The timing couldn't have been any worse. Hopefully it's still under warranty???

Rented an Xbox for about 10 days. Hopefully by the time is up my 360 will have been shipped back to me.

thats funny and sucks so much at the same time. Travis told me last night it happened i said no way, i didnt believe him at first. You think that having 2 360's your safe from the RROD cause if one dies, you still have the other one. You wouldnt think to youself that both freiking consoles would die at the same time, lol.

I had a ****in huge scare last night aswell. I come home from EA, go over to my XBOX grab the wireless controller hit the power button. The controller turns on but the XBOX doesnt, no worry, thats happened before. Get up walk over to the XBOX, hit the power button. *xtremely loud grinding noise and then RROD* HOLY ****!!!!! instantly turn it off again. Think, **** better take Halo 3 out incase something happens and it gets scratched. Open the disk tray*extremely loud grinding noise* grab Halo 3 and quickly turn off. Thought to myself no mother ****ing way is this going to happen again!(im on my 3rd XBOX) Unplug everything, take off the Intercooler, plug everything back in again, turn on. Perfect. You have no idea how big of a relief that was. Im going to do some testing today to c what was wrong with the Intercooler, c if it was something stuck in the fans or what. If i cant fix it im going to call Nyko and bitch like ****ing hell at them.

thats why i dont really like intercoolers lol i dont think it will make that much of a difference in the temperature, just make sure its well ventilated and everything. i hope the rrod thing never happens to me though lol

LMAO Everyones is getting it. I think mine is next. For some reason it is running extremely cool. I'm not sure if that is bad or good. :/ Normally after playing it for a few hours if I stick my hand on the top or behind the fans it feels like it is going to burn me, but I just got done playing Halo 3 for four hours and it isn't even slightly warm, and the fans are hardly blowing out any air, and what is being blown out is room temperature. :S That and it has been making odd noises for quite some time now. :O Another thing is the first time I booted Halo 3 everything was really choppy. Besides that it performs perfectly in every way though.

yea the first time i booted Halo 3 the starting screens were choppy aswell. Glad to hear it wasnt just me!
