ok so when you turn on your xbox 360 .. if you have only 1 controller.. the top left light of the circle should stay on...

why is my top right light on and not the left one?

its still always the top left light thats lit up though no matter what its stance.

But a different light will be the top left one if it is vertical than if it is horizontal.......

It sounds like that is probably what it is. The sensor that tells which way it is standing is probably stuck or something.

Do you have a Guitar Hero guitar plugged in or something like that? That messes mine up sometimes.
