because i got it twice eariler but it still runs

will it be on and off like this for ever?

if so, how do you just put it out of its misery?

if its going on and off like that, it will most likely continue doing that forever, or at some point it will just completely quit and give the RROD every time. One of my past 360s did that for a few months before i finally sent it in.

Depending on how bad it is, like how often it happens, i would suggest on keeping it untill you are fed up with having to deal with the nonsense if you dont want to wait while its repaired.(thats what i did, just kept it untill i got fed up with dealing with it not always working) If you dont mind waiting for anywhere up to a month or more(it should only be a week or two, but you never know) then i would suggest calling up M$(1-800-4-MY-XBOX) and having it sent in for repairs. You dont need to completely kill it for them to take it in, just tell them its giving you the RROD and you'll be fine.

Obviously your going to have to wait at some point, im just saying on how you feel about waiting at this point in time.

well however you want. You can go onto your roof, throw it down at the pavement, take a sledgehammer to it, throw it in the fire, put it in the bath while turned on, put it in the oven, microwave, dishwaser, washing machine...Theres an infinite amount of ways you can kill it lol

Im going to assume you actually mean how do you force it to have a permanent RROD? I dont know. It doesnt matter though, as long as it gets the RROD just once, your good to send it into M$(although you can even just pretend it got the RROD and send it in anyway. Syntax[another forum member] did that. His never got the RROD, but he told m$ it did and sent it in and got a 'new' one with no hassel.

If your already fed up with the hassel, then just call up M$ and send it in. Then play the best game ever, the waiting game. My 1st 360 came back in exactly 7 days, but my 2nd one took over a month. So its really up to you to do research and find out how backed up the repair centre is right now. If its really backed up, i would suggest holding onto your 360 for the time being because the chances are you'll be waiting a month or so to get one back. If its not backed up at all though, then i would say send it in ASAP because you will probably get it back within a couple weeks. Thats up to you to find out though if the centre is back logged or not(simple way to find out is to talk to people who currently have their 360 in for repair, or have just got theirs back from repair, and see how long they have been waiting, or have waited.) I suppose another way would be to call M$ and ask them. Theres a chance they will be able to tell you.

If you dont want another 360 at all though(duno why, it pwns all else when working. Definately worth the wait and hassel of the RROD) then take one of my original suggestions or find one of your own. Personally i like the put it in the bath while turned on option. That would be pretty cool to see.(if you do literally kill it for some stupid reason, please be sure to film it and post the video lol)

My friend had his modded and sent it in, i told him he was a moron, and he still hasnt gotten it back(its been like 3 and a half months) So if it is modded dont send it in.

Otherwise do it, i havnt herd of anyone with a non modded box get turned down for the prod

wow 3 months mine was gone for 1 mlonth i believe. I called two times making sure they had it, and they were fixing it, and that they weren't going to tell me they lost it, b/c then i would be pissed.
