i just buy this xbox n can some one tell me why i cant play pirated games??? do i need to upgrade something or what?? help...

Well first of all don't say pirated games because you are admitting that you are doing something illegal and if there was any sort of moderation here besides a guy that occasionally reads the thread titles then this would most likely be closed. Say backups.

And for your question, you have to either flash the firmware on your DVD drive, or install a modchip.....I wouldn't recommend either for somebody that doesn't know you have to do that.....

I am with Paint you don't seem to understand how backups work so I wouldn't suggest opening up your Xbox to chip it.
