Microsoft Announces new XBOX 360 Points Gifting System

So it's like the Wii Shop gifting system, but with points instead of the games? It sounds cool. That sucks that it's only here in America, though.

I thought the same thing, I saw it and was like Why the hell didnt they launch this before Christmas and not a few days after!?

Gifting points to others wouldn't be that cool..But like gaining points for doing stuff would be even cooler..I know M.S are kinda cheap and won't do it,but it would be a good idea,like to give 100 M.S points for each game you get 1000/1000 GamerScore.. Or stupid stuff like that

What is a good idea is having all the rich people that actually use those points, give it to other people that have never bothered to even try them out.

I thought of this too. The Wii has a channel called "Everybody Votes" (which is a lie) but its basically a bunch of 2 week surveys like, "What do you do most, Watch TV or Surf Internet?"

Someone is making money off those questions. But its sad that with a new gen console, you get so bored that you actually take all the surveys.

As stupid as it sounds, there is a lot of potential for this and I'm sure companies would LOVE to get in there and pick your brain. Plus people would be more inclined to participate if they did offer you some points.

I would take a 10 minute survey to score a 100 points for free. Maybe have like 10 points per question or have each survey worth a set amount. It might sound stupid, but why not earn a few points while waiting for your friends to finish the current match so you can join them OR take a break from gaming for a few minutes and get rewarded for doing so.

I mean its just another income venture.

Yeah,lol..But M.S already have the gamerscore/achievment system which is only there to show who has done what..Giving you M.S. points for them would give you more reasons to unlock these achievments..

Even though some achivements are stupid,there are other achievements that I really think you deserve to be paid for completing them.
