hi i recently sent my 360 to microsoft because i got the 3 rings. i was wondering if anyone knew if you get your same xbox back or if you get a different referbished one.

I saw this web page that offers an ebook teaching stuff that fixes problems of three rings. Follow the link and you'll get there.

lmao yea they are! not only that, but one kids cord apprently plugs into his asshole and not the XBOX, and his controller is even a 3rd party one, not even an M$ one...

They fixed mine, but in some cases they just give you a new one. I think it just depends on how energetic the engineers are feeling at that point in the day.

I got the ring of fire twice, but thankfully the second time it worked once I'd switched it off and on again. You can imagine the fear that went through me when I saw that red circle TWICE!!

Get it sorted MS!!

how long does it usually take to get an xbox back when you send it in for repair?? i only got it at christmas and i was really enjoying playing call of duty so im pretty bummed about this. i hope it doesnt take long.

Yep. They gave me a BRAND NEW one back. I was happy!

It depends on how busy the repair centre is and how many 360's they currently have in stock. When I sent mine off for repair, it came back in 5 days, other people have waited 2-3 months. So theres no real set amount of time, M$ say up to 2 weeks I believe, so if it takes over 2 weeks, you can complain and they will give you some compensation(only if you complain though) It may not be 2 weeks, I dont remember how long they say, however long it is they say, if it takes longer then that then you can complain
