Grab selected Rock Band tracks for only 80 points each
MTV Games and Harmonix have teamed up with McDonald’s to drop the price on select Rock Band tracks in the United States and Canada. Each week until June 1st, you can grab two new tracks for 80 points each. To help you budget your time and money, here is the schedule of tracks:

5/6/08-5/12/08 :
Crushcrushcrush - Paramore
Rock 'n Roll Band - Boston

5/13/08-5/19/08 :
Shockwave - Black Tide
Sugar Magnolia - Grateful Dead

5/20/08-5/26/08:
We Care A Lot - Faith No More
All the Small Things - Blink 182

5/27/08-6/2/08:
Gimme Three Steps - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Dirty Little Secret - All-American Rejects

The lower price will start tomorrow at 0200 PT. But I wanted to give everyone a heads up as soon as I found out about this promotion.

Does anybody here even have Rock Band besides me? I know CDN Gmr, Syntax and spen1 have it, but CDN and Syntax rarely play the game..Dont know if anyone else has it here though?

LMAO, I know. Its so funny XD Nobody outside of North America has it yet. I duno why...Theres really no reason for it to of been delayed for so long..and is it EA screwing the rest of the world over, or is it MTV games and/or Harmonix aswell?

also, everything in Aussie Land kind of gets massively delayed..Is it something to do with your government? It seems everything video game related(dont know about anything else?) is insanely delayed down there.

^Most of our games get here on time now days. Before it was terrible. We have a big issue with censorship in australia. Thats were the goverment and alot of the media jump on. As for rockband i here different stories. The one iv heard is a problem with getting the song clearence for euro.

I really want to get it.

According to Play.com it's out at the end of this month. I doubt I'll be able to afford it by then. But I think at the end of summer I'll be buying a lot of games for when I'm stuck inside when it's cold and raining, so this might be one of them.
