@paint, I laugh at the people who bought the players when they were expensive, but for anybody who got it at $99 or less(referring to an HD-DVD player, not the 360s one. Those were and still are a pretty bad deal...), they got a great deal. With the amount of HD-DVD exclusive movies and the fact an HD-DVD player is a good DVD upscaler makes it completely worth while if you got it cheap. Personally I wouldnt even spend that much on it because I barely watch any movies, but the people out there who own all the HD-DVD movies, or a lot of them, as long as they got the player for cheap, then they got a great deal.

Yeah there is really no reason to have one or buy movies at all. They are all crap, not worth it.

So it doesn't matter for bluray either, because the movies suck and that is what bluray is benching on, not gaming.
