Have a quick question can you use a standard wireless dongle instead of the Xbox Adapter? Thanks In Advance lcbs |

No. The 360 won't have a driver for it.

thanks for the reply paintballer didn't think of the drivers! can i connect it through my pc which is wireless i cant do it through the modem as this is 3 floors down or am i gonna have to by the adapter??

Yes. You can run an ethernet cable from your PC to your 360. Then you can just choose to share the connection on your PC. (the method varies depending on your operating system)

Im in a similar situation only i want to no if i can connect mine through my wireless enabled laptop if so how? |

The method will be the same, it doesn't matter if it's a laptop.
