Just got the new Nyco Intercooler

Just got the Nyco Inyercool for my 360 you should feel the heat pumping out the back of this thing its mad!!! I thought the air would of been cooler comming out of it after all its a fan

I have one, but I took it off after I heard all the stories of how they are ****ing up peoples consoles.

Because it is leaching off the power that the console is supposed to get. So the 360 isn't going to get as much power as it is supposed to. Someone on another forum had his actually melt to the back of his console.

the original Intercoolers were the main problem to this, the newer ones havnt been having this issue really. My 360 is off for repairs right now for this exact problem actually (i bought the very very original Intercooler):S I had been crossing my fingers for it to do it though for ages, then 2 weeks before M$ announced the new policy, i sent it into Nyko(because they repair for free) The Intercooler works really well(as u mentioned, when u feel the air coming out the back its pretty crazy) If your 360 has overheating problems, then i would highly suggesting using the Intercooler, but if it doesnt, then therse no need. Nyko will replace your 360 and Intercooler for free if it breaks(im living proof of this, my 360 and intercooler is with them as we speak) Also, they are sending me a free remote because its taking longer then they said it would take(Their Inteligent Remote 360, this thing: http://www.nyko.com/Store/ProductDetail.aspx?i=73 )
They offered me another item but i asked for that cause i didnt want the other things.

I didn't know they changed them. All of them that I have seen look exactly the same, and I don't know what they could really change since all it is is a few fans. And they all leach power from it which is not good. I would just leave it without one.

Mine say on the box New metal contacts for inproved power flow dose that make it a more recent one

theres no noticeable difference, its just when they were made, no og ones are sold now though cause they were all sold already...
they can change how the thing works, make it more efficent...

Like i said before though, if your console has overheating problems, definately use it, if it doesnt, then theres no need.

mine just says Nyco Tech 2007 on the box think since it says 2007 it might be ner only got it on friday from GAME so much be pretty new
