i was wondering if ne1 cud softmod my xbox as it costs a fortune 4 games, i live in the nottingham area if u can plz replie.

What Syntax said.
Also, if you do that, and you connect to XBL at all, you will get this blue screen of death


As you can c, it says CONSOLE BANNED, meaning you cant just make a new profile, you need to buy a new XBOX.

Its not really a screen of death since you can still do everything but sign into Live.

What are you talking about?

Most people who mod do it to play "backups."

And if you make sure to always have the latest hacked firmware on it then you shouldn't have any problems with getting banned. It would probably be easier to just get it chipped so you don't have to worry about that.

my friend modded for halo 2 on live about 1 and a half years ago. he made some funny shit happen, he made it so plasma grenades would come out of a smg when he shot it. he got banned on live, but that was his original xbox, hes getting a 360 soon and probably will not mod it.
