my friend got his original xbox to store any games he put in, so the next time you dont even need the disc. meanin he could borrow a disk from a friend store it like he is useing the disk. we both have 360's and hes sure you can do the same thing so does anyone know how?

That would require a modchip or hacked firmware, but I don't think that there is a modchip/firmware for the 360 that allows you to backup games to the HDD yet.

Being banned isn't really that big of a deal as long as you pay attention to what you are doing. It is the reason I don't mod mine, but whatever. Because if you softmod it then you just have to make sure you have the latest undetectable firmware before you connect to Live, and if you have a chip then depending on the chip you just have to have the most updated firmware, or only use originals to play online and shut the chip off when you do.
