is it a wired 360 headset or wireless one?

The wired ones are very well known for breaking. They are made extremely poorly and they brake quite easily. So maby in your transporting it from where you bought it to home you damaged it accidentally. I would suggest bringing back to where you bought it and try it on the guys 360 again and c if it works there. If it doesnt work there, demand your money back.(im assuming youve bought it off a friend so that shouldnt be hard)

My wired one just stopped working one day out of nowhere. I could still hear ppl, but they couldnt hear me. I hadnt had it for very long, a year or so. Many other ppl have had theirs last much shorter times. So i went out and bought the Wireless headset. Its a million times better then the wired one. Its not so easy to adjust the volume and hit the mute button since those controls are on the headset which is on your ear, so you need to basically take one hand off ur controller and hit them instead of just moving your thumb down and adjusting. So there is a disadvantage, but overall the wireless one is much better. I would say if you bring it back and it doesnt work there either, try to get your money back and go out and buy the M$ wireless headset.
