Wireless Headset $39

Toys R Us has a deal where the M$ Wireless Headset is $39 bucks. Thats the cheapest I found it anywhere. If you've been wanting one, $20 off is a good deal.

If there isn't a local Toys R Us around... print the ad and take it to Walmart and they'll price match it. Thats what I'm gonna do because Walmart is down the street vs Toys R Us is like 25 minutes away.

Or go to Best Buy and have the Geek Squad look it up, and get four dollars off on top of it. (they beat prices by 10%)

Yea I went to Walmart and they were sold out (go figure). So I didn't buy one (go figure).

A friend of mine said the Wireless sucks bad and have bad voice problems. I figured I would buy one and test it. I just got to get my hands on one.

I have one and its a million times better then the wired headset. The voice quality on it is so much better then the wired headset its incredible. When I first got my wireless headset my friends all said they were amazed at how much clearer my voice sounded, and their voices were so much clearer on my end aswell. Ive switched back and forth to see what its like and its like night and day the difference is so big.

Hmmmm. Lots of people tell me they suck. Really it doesn't matter because even the corded headset transmits the audio wirelessly.

See I bought a chat pad, which uses its own headset... which is white... and I have a black elite. I've been switching the chat pad with the black headset but is becoming tedious.

Which I just had a thought... can you have the chat pad connected at the same time you have a wireless headset? I would assume so but it may be limited by the software. Anyone with some insight?

I'm still in pursuit btw. Seems like most stores are sold out. ToysRus still has it on their website for $39. Its just a long drive to the nearest store. Maybe I'll call the Best buys around my work and see if they have one in stock.

How do you get Best buy to price match? Something to do with Geek Squad?

You can take the ad in, or if its on the internet then they will have a guy from the Geek Squad look it up.

Hey.

While working, I drove past a Best Buy and figured I'd check 'em out. The Return line was huge, but it moved quickly I guess. I snagged a wireless headset and got the price match by showing them a printout from Toysrus.com that listed the price and "Add to Cart" button which meant it was in-stock (online).

She didn't question me or anything, just took it off. It was $42.XX after tax so I don't think I got the extra 10% off. But I got it for a good price so I'm happy. I was gonna order it online at Toysrus.com if I couldn't find one locally.

So I'm all set for this upcoming 4 day weekend.

wireless headsets are so not worth 30 dollars i had one for 3 days then sold it on ebay.. they are not comfortable at all wired headset is way better

quick question, how do you switch voice on and off on the wireless headset?

You simply press the power button(The Power Button is the silver button in the centre of the headset). Pressing the power button once will turn the voice off(indicated by a beep) then pressing the power button again will turn the voice back on(indicated by a different beep). On either side of the power button are the volume controls. To turn the headset on you hold down the power button for about 5 seconds, and to turn it off you hold down the power button for about 5 seconds again.

If I had that I would be unsure that it was off and then make an ass of myself by saying retarded shit with the mic on...I did that the other day. :/ I was insulting the way British people talk (no offense) because of the "bloody ell, we just got our arses kicked" on CoD4 and then I was saying how badly certain people on the team sucked...then somebody said shut up and I looked down to see my mic was on.
