Hey guys. I just bought my Wireless headset and installed my Plug and Play Charge kit on my wireless controller. When I charged the units I had to keep my 360 on all night just to charge the peripherals. Its kind of a stupid design. The Front USB ports should be powered all the time.

My question is how can you get around this limitation? I was thinking of buying a powered USB HUB... but I don't know if they would charge that way. Anyone know of a good working solution?

If you plug it in while the console is on then shut it off it will continue to run in a low power mode until they are charged. Or you can plug it into a PC or something.

Damn it I just bought a little USB Wall outlet plug for $10. Crap. Well its good to know.

[EDIT] I got home and happened to notice the charging lights on my Wireless adapter blinked even though the console is off.

Now does the console have to be on when plugging them in for them to charge, or can the console be off when you plug them in for them to start charging?

I'm guessing on, so it knows not to power completely down.
