controller/wired mic problem

ok ive just recently got an xbox eliet and i bought a new controller aswell,
however just in the past day i found that with one of my controllers when the mic is pluged in, my speeking icon is just stuck on, like im talking 24/7 which im not, ive tried unplugging and replugging the headset, flicking it on and off adjusting the volume, recconnecting the controller to the console, the works all of which have given me no result, my other controller its works as it should, the icon shows once its plugged in and i can see the sound waves while i talk,

has anyone had this problem or have feedback on how to solve it.

huh, thats a very interesting problem...ive not heard of that happening before and so I have no idea as to what to do, srry..

Im thinking maby the controller has a problem, but what does the controller have to do with the mute button? nothing.
