Please help, cannot load my saved game data!!

Hey guys,
I hope you guys can help In the beginning of December I sent my Xbox 360 in to get repaired because of the red ring of death. They replaced my console, and when I had it returned I could not play any full versions of my Xbox live arcade games that I payed for. I called Microsoft and after about 4 hours they kinda resolved my problem by changing the serial number on the games. But anyways that's not my current problem....you see during that whole mess of trying to get the live arcade problem fixed....they told me to delete my gamertag and restore it through xbox live. When I restored it I got an Xbox live error..I still managed to have my gamertag restored...but when I go to play forza 2 or any other game for that matter..it tells me I have no saved games to load. The strange part is that the data is still on the hard drive it'd just not reading it. I tried copying/moving it to a memory card but it tells me that I can't transfer it to a different profile. I also tried deleting the profile again and restoring it through xbox live again...and it went through without an error...but I still have the same problem. I was hoping that you guys might have some more ideas I can do.

hmm I rekon it has something to do with the block microsoft put on when people got the cod4 beta without being chosen for it. I recovered my mates profile who had a legit copy and selected Download beta
again so it would save to my hdd. Obviously I got banned for a while. Did you ever recover your account on a friends xbox? and the downloaded your at arcade games to his hdd.
