Are we ever gonna get multi user chat?

Has anybody figured out how to do it or manipulate the system to get multi user chat to work?

are you talking about on XBOX Live the private chat feature, and you are asking if it is possible to get a multi-person chat going so instead of it being just a 1v1 conversation, you would be talking to many ppl?

It is not currently possible to do this. M$ have not said anything about making this option possible, however so many ppl have said that they want it, and its such an obvious feature to have, that I just cant seem them not putting it in at some point..maybe its not possible yet because its really difficult to implement on the technical side? I dunno..

I doubt that it's any technical issue since almost every online game can do it...well, I guess we are talking about MS here...

yeah if you look at how many people you can talk to in the lobby of any multiplayer game, they only really need to implement a lobby system in the chat options of the dashboard so up to 16 people can talk

MS should really add some kind of Dashboard widgets deal so we could implement the things they fail to. But I guess that would open them up to some lawsuits... (on OS X the layer where the widgets are placed is called the Dashboard)

I Personally think that MS will consider having a multiple chat, so us users of the console can add other freinds into the convo.
