Battlestar Galactica and Exit release in XBLA

I haven't played Exit yet, but Battlestar Galactica is REALLY good. Takes the storyline of the series on Sci-Fi (not the one from the early 80's) beginning with the miniseries and then starting with episode 1 of the first season's "33" episode. I've only played the first 2 missions but I'd say it's well worth the 800 points.

What I don't get about those points is why would you buy them? basically you are paying for the game with real money, just buying the points. It makes no sense to me. Unless there is a way to get or be rewarded points?

Also not a fan of the games that seem to be in XBLA but I haven't checked any of them out. I generally don't want to waste time/money with something that is sub-par. Is there anything that is actually good? :/

How can you not be a fan of something you haven't even tried to see if you like it or not? Why not try the demo (each XBLA game has one) to see if it's something you'd like. Xbox 360 is no different than any other console that's come out in the past. It has it's good games and bad.
